Back in 2010, I kicked off this blogging adventure during an epic six-week road trip with my 1-year old Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy, Lil Lucy, riding shotgun. But my love of travel and history? That started way back—long before I ever hit the road—when I was still in my mom’s womb. It’s a calling woven into my DNA.
I’m a Southern girl with a map, chasing history like Lewis & Clark—if they’d had sweet tea, good boots, and Wi-Fi.
My mom planted a love of the open road in me as a child, and every trip I take carries the spirit of those early drives. The best stories aren’t found in guidebooks, but in quiet roadside stops, local diners, old cemeteries and the miles in between.
Through my lens, I aim to capture the stillness, the stories, and the soul of every stop along the way.
