Hey, I’m Sandy Adams—an award-winning photographer who loves hitting the road and capturing historic spots from angles most people don’t think to look. Most of my photos come from road trips across the U.S., where I’m always chasing the stories and history that don’t make the textbooks.

Born and raised in West Tennessee, I spent 16 years in Houston before making my way back home in 2020. I’ve been traveling pretty much my whole life—across the U.S. and around the world. That love for exploring new places is what fuels my photography and inspires me to look for the untold stories everywhere I go.

So buckle up—let’s hit the road and uncover the hidden gems together.

A Southern Girl’s View Podcast

“I don’t want to interview people. I want to have a conversation. I want to talk to Paul McCartney about the bass sound on The White Album.” – Nikki Sixx

Sit a spell, drink an iced tea and listen in on some thoughtful, and at times funny, conversations.

Growing up in the south, the best part of summer was the late nights sitting outside on the front porch listening to my mom and my aunts laugh and tell stories about their youth. Those were some of the best evenings when life was simple and the only thing to focus on was catching fireflies at dusk.
