A Southern Girl’s View… Paris France | This Day in 1940

The beautiful city of Paris France has sure been in the news lately!   But despite “kimye”, the city of lights has a long and complicated history.   On this day in 1940, the Germans bombed the city of lights with little regard for the fact that most of the population were civilian and that France was already close to falling to the Germans anyway.   Here are some images of when I visited Paris, the city of lights, with classmates of mine at the turn of the century literally 😉
