What You’ll Learn:

You will learn how to use the art of storytelling to retell stories of your trip and keep your family and friends on the edge of their seats! Tips will be shared on how to organize your materials as well.

Recommended reading for the class is “The Best American Travel Writing 2020” (The Best American Series®).

Sandy Adams

Travel Photographer, Writer, Educator, Podcast Host

Award winning photographer, Sandy Adams is best known for her photographs of historical sites from unique perspectives.  The majority of her work comprises photographs, taken during many cross-country road trips, which reveal the lesser known history and stories of our county.

Sandy was born and raised in West Tennessee, spent 16 years living in Houston before relocating back to her native state.  She received her B.A. in International Relations – Middle East and Northern Africa from Memphis State University and her Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Memphis.  She has been traveling since she was born both in the United States and abroad.
